Team Games

Every person on your team becomes a trading card. Then you play.

Deck of Us is a live team event built around custom cards of the people in the room. Fixed price from $7,500, eight weeks from kickoff to event day, designed and run by the founder.

Deck of Us

Your team as a trading card game.

Every person becomes a card: custom chibi art, five stats drawn from their real work, two signature powers, and a fun fact. Printed on trading card stock, the same 2.5 by 3.5 inches as the cards people already collect.

At the live event, players pair up and combine their cards against scenarios projected on screen. When a scenario matches a power on the table, bonus points fire. To win, you have to know what your teammates are good at. That is the point.

Case study

The Analytics Card Battle

A 20-person corporate analytics team was working through the SERVE leadership model, and one principle kept surfacing: engage and develop others. How do you develop people you barely know?

Eight weeks later, every person on the team was a trading card. A short survey became five stats per person. Each card got two signature powers, a fun fact, and custom art. Twenty people, twenty cards, one deck that could only belong to this team.

Within minutes of the first round, people were trading.

Everyone wanted their own card, and some campaigned hard for specific teammates.

"I just need to trade for a Janet!"

The next day, people were still trading, trying to assemble their full teams. One player quietly swapped his ID badge photo for his player card.

Heard at the event and the morning after

How are you going to top this one?

That was so fun. Can you make cards for my family?

I had no idea what to expect, but it definitely wasn't this.

The assignment was engage and develop others. That is hard with someone you barely know, and much easier once you have campaigned to trade for her card because you know exactly what she is good at. The badge photo says the rest.

Built for the budget conversation. One fixed price that fits on a single line of a budget request, and an event that doubles as a development exercise, because the stats come from people's real work.

FAQ

How much of our team's time does this take?

A roster, about 20 minutes per person for the survey, and one preview meeting with your host.

How far in advance do we book?

Eight weeks from kickoff to event day.

What if my team is not into games?

The rules are deliberately simple: pair up, play your cards, match powers to the scenario on screen. Nobody needs to have touched a trading card since middle school. The cards do the heavy lifting, because the subject of the game is the people in the room.

Does this work for remote or hybrid teams?

The event is designed for a room, which is why offsites and kickoffs are the natural fit. If your team is distributed, raise it on the discovery call and we will talk through options.

What do people have to share?

A 20 minute survey about their work and a photo for the art. Stats are drawn from what each person is actually good at, and your host previews the full deck before anything is printed.

What do we need to provide on the day?

A room, a screen or projector, and about two hours of the agenda. We bring everything else.

Do you travel?

Yes. Travel is billed at cost, on top of the fixed price.

What is included?

Game design, custom art, printing on trading card stock, live facilitation by the founder who designed it, and a debrief writeup your sponsor can circulate afterward.

What kind of events does this fit?

Sales kickoffs, onboarding, offsites that need a centerpiece, and team integration after reorgs.

Want a deck for your team?

Send your team size and a rough date. You will hear back from the founder who designs and runs the event, not a sales team. The first step is a 30 minute call about fit.

Thanks. Your note is in. You will hear back from the founder.
